Features The 16196B Surface Mount Device (SMD) test fixture offers excellent repeatability and usability, with accurate correlation up to 3 GHz. The 16196 series fixtures are custom-designed to fit specific SMD sizes (see the table below), providing repeatable DUT positioning through reliable contacts to ensure stable measurement results—reducing the possibility of operator-induced errors. Traditionally, evaluating SMD inductors up to 3 GHz has been difficult to implement. Now, with the 16196 series, accurate and repeatable measurements can be easily performed.
