818-IR-L Optical fiber detector

OVERVIEW The 818-IR-L-FC/DB is a flexible fiber optic detector. By simply removing the 884-FC fiber optic adapter installed on it, it can be easily converted into a free-space detector. For handheld power meters, its power range is from -75 to 1.1 dBm; for bench-top power meters, this power range is higher (from -75 to 10 dBm). It is compatible with all current Newport optical power meter models with a DB15 interface. Please note that the models 818-IR-L and 818-IR-L/DB can no longer be ordered. Purchase the 818-IR-L-FC/DB and then remove the connector and/or fiber optic adapter.
